What data we collect

We only collect what you type into the order form: your name, your email address, an optional phone number, an optional note (for example your delivery address), and the contents of your order (products, quantities and total). Your cart itself is kept in your own browser's local storage until you send it. We take no payment on this website. Please do not include sensitive personal data (for example health, religious or political information) in the note field: we do not ask for it and we cannot control what you type.

Why we may use it — lawful basis

Collected data is used solely for handling your order and communicating with you about it. The lawful basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR: processing necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and to perform that contract if the order goes ahead. Where we must keep order records for accounting, the basis is Article 6(1)(c), compliance with a legal obligation. Providing the data is not a statutory requirement, but without it we cannot process your order. We do not sell your data, we do not share it with third parties for marketing, and we take no automated decisions about you.

Who processes your data

Order submissions are received and stored by Netlify (Netlify, Inc., United States), which hosts this website and handles its forms as our processor. Data may therefore be transferred outside the European Economic Area under the transfer safeguards set out in Netlify's data processing agreement, which governs our use of the service. Product availability counters are stored by the same provider. For each online order they keep only the quantities of tracked products and a one-way technical code derived from the order, so that the same order is never counted twice. They contain no names, contact details or order contents, but because the code can be matched to the stored order, we treat it as pseudonymous personal data.

Each form submission is also forwarded by email to info@smartweb-media.com (Smartweb Media), so the contents of your order — including your name, email, phone, note and order — are also received and stored in that mailbox and by its email provider. If you choose to order by email instead, your message is received at info@origini.shop and stored by our email provider.

How long we keep it

Netlify stores form submissions until we delete them; no automatic deletion schedule is configured yet. We keep orders for as long as needed to handle the order and to meet our accounting obligations, and remove them manually afterwards. The technical order code in the availability counter is kept while the counter is in use; once the order itself is deleted it can no longer be linked to you. You can ask us to delete your data at any time; we will do so unless the law requires us to keep it, for example order records we must retain for accounting.

Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data and to request its correction. Where the legal conditions are met you may also request erasure or restriction of processing, exercise data portability — receiving the data you gave us in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format — and, for processing not based on a contract or a legal obligation, object to it. To exercise any of these, contact us at info@origini.shop.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For our establishment this is the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon), aki.ee, or the authority in your country of residence.
